Chris Hauser released LiveCalc Version 2.0 today. The tool calculates every number in (nearly) realtime. Based on Math bc 1.05 the tool is really fast. People in need of huge numbers will love the tool! LiveCalc is Freeware and runs on Mac OS X > 10.3.x.
256 seconds to calculate e(12334) on a G4, 768Mhz.
Not in realtime really, but a number with 5378 digits! :-)
2^9999: A number with 30103 digits. In 7 seconds.

more than 10000 digits within 1/4 second. – try 2^34567
