On Saturday we had a fantastic tasting here in Frankfurt at Whisky Spirits:

Whisky and Chocolate was the motto!
It was awesome. Macallans Spider Web at hand we identified 7 Whiskys divided into regions, tastes and colors. The appropriate chocolate was served during the event: We had sea salt chocolate (!), ginger chocolate, chili chocolate, lemon chocolate, nut chocolate, pepper chocolate and orange chocolate. Not to mention the fine Whiskys:
Aberlour 10, Auchentoshan unchill. filtered from Signatory, Benriach 10, Bunnahabhain 12, Fettercaim 10, Littlemill 12 and Talisker 12.

It was really great! The spider web is a huge instrument to identify any flavor within such a complex liquid.

At the end of a perfect day we were simply happy without any „dizzyness“ :-) I’ll dig deeper into the combination of Chocolate and Whisky, that’s for sure…
