Midi here I come, part II
It works. Today I connected my Midi-Sax to the emagic a6|2m and it worked.
This is the first time I’m using Midi-data to create music. In the past the WT11 Synthesizer, which is a part of the Midi-Sax, created all the sounds I needed for our old Band „Benny Goldkehlchen and his rythm group“.
Now, let’s see what’s happening. I didn’t play the Saxophone for the last 8 years and I really don’t know, how much I forgot…
Midi here I come…
My friend Martin gave his old Midi Interface from emagic to me. Now I am able to use my Midi-Saxophone from Yamaha to play around with GarageBand. It’s an old interface, but it works and it comes with one Midi-input channel, two analog-out channels and six analog-in channels. And it’s made from cool blue plastic. :-)
The Midi Saxophone is one of my favourite instruments I own. It looks like an intergalatical Vacuum cleaner.
I bought it in 1988, when the band of Peter Gabriel used such strange Instruments like the Stick and the Midi-Sax. It’s pretty cool and hey… the girls liked it a lot, because of its coolness. :-)
