Psychology of colors?

This one is interesting: The underground passageway of our train station is painted in a new color since four weeks. It’s some kind of orange/rosé. The last ten years it was painted in white and covered with Graffity within three days every time it was repainted.

The new color seems to prevent every kind of Graffity. Four weeks – no Graffity, not a single line of Edding.
