Adobe hat einige Details zu seinem sog. Apollo-Projekt bekanntgegeben. Mit Apollo sollen mit Flash erstellte Anwendungen nun in eine Art Container gepackt werden können, der in einem Clientprogramm ablaufen kann. Das Ziel des Projektes sei damit, multimediale Anwendungen zu erstellen, die die Möglichkeiten von Flash ausnutzten und in einem Client wie dem Adobe Reader ablaufen können.
Welch ein Anachronismus: Wurde die ganze Zeit das Web als die Plattform für die sog. user experiences angepriesen, so will man diesmal (man beachte die englische Wortwahl – welch ein Witz) das gaaanz anders machen: „The idea … is to enable applications currently made from Flash and PDF to move beyond the browser.“
„beyond the browser“ heißt doch nichts anderes als: Wir gehen zur guten alten .exe zurück – also offline. Und das wird uns jetzt als prima neue Idee verkauft.
Ob Adobe weiß, dass sie schon so eine Software haben?

Bad Behavior stopped 127 Spam attacks on Tomblogg since yesterday. Combined with Akismet this stops 100% of Spam for sure. Unfortunately Bad Behavior doesn’t show you the attacks within your Admin-Interface – you need some MySQL-Tool like phpMyAdmin to see what happened to your Blog.
UPDATE: 11 hours later: 201 attacks catched.
UPDATE: I’m testing Version 2 Alpha4 for now. It looks great, really!
It’s totally useless to try to drop some comments here. It doesn’t matter if you try it with 10 messages or with 100 messages per day. Your comments will never appear because they are catched with Akismet.
Damn…
Update: Maybe Bad Behavior will help to prevent Spam…
